HairKit is super excited to announce our national education dates now we can travel again in 2021. Our Founder Craig Rhodes will be facilitating our “Session Start Up” courses throughout the year. Craig’s experience is a huge addition to the HairKit portfolio with his session experience over the past 10 years taking him to all parts of the globe.
A regular at New York, London, Milan and Paris Fashion Weeks working with the likes of Guido, Duffy, Garren, Anthony Turner and more, Craig’s experience working on the shows of Tom Ford, Versace, Dolce and Gabanna, Anna Sui, Valentino, Dior, Rick Owens and too many more to mention will show you the essential skills you need to work backstage in these environments.
Craig’s work has also featured in magazines worldwide and is the perfect addition to help any aspiring hairdressers into the session world.
He’s a bit of a cutting freak as well. Loves everything about scissors and is a perfectionist on creating silhouettes on his clients on floor. If you need help making your clients cuts better this guy has a bucket load of advice on taking it to the next level.

This 1 hour demonstration in salon take you through the why/how/where we we would use a blunt cutter, slicer, texturiser or all-rounder and the difference results that each scissor will produce.

Let’s get a feel for our scissors.
This is basically Scissors 101 with a participation element. Attendees get to experience using the different scissors on the supplied mannequin heads over the course of 2 hours to understand the feel and use of these different tools.
All experience and cutting levels are suited to this event as there is technically no “haircut” as such being shown (Padawans to Jedis).
